Who We Are
All of our providers are are board certified. This is true of all our physicians and our physician assistants. This may not be true of many skin care clinics/medi spas of which may not be staffed by Board Certified Dermatologists, plastic surgeons, or ENT physicians. If you want the best, most qualified evaluations and treatment opinion, you are in the right place!
Furthermore we are one of the few combined Dermatology/Rheumatology clinics in the region. You will receive expert care of several chronic diseases that include both the skin and the joints. Diseases that involve both the skin and joints includes but is not limited to: Psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, Lupus, polymyositis/dermatomyositis, scleroderma, Wegeners Granulomatosis, Vasculitis and Sarcoid.
Our Dermatologists have completed an internship/residency in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics before completing programs of the American Board of Dermatology accredited residency and passing intense certification exams. Our providers continue to maintain their certification by completing continuing medical education hours and passing rigorous tests of their respective professional organizations.
Our Rheumatologist has completed an accredited four year internal medicine internship/residency culminating in certification by American Board of Internal Medicine. This was followed by a THREE year American College of Rheumatology fellowship and an additional research year. Our physician assistants (PAs) have not only completed an accredited training program and have qualified as certified PAs by passing a certifying exam, they have been trained extensively under the supervision of the board-certified physicians and are required to complete continuing education through the year.

Board-Certified Physicians
All of our physicians are board-certified dermatologists, have completed 3 years of American Academy of Dermatology residency training, and have passed an intense certification exam to attain the status of board certification. While other physicians and surgeons can care for your skin and provide diagnosis, treatment, and cosmetic recommendations, we recommend you seek out dermatologists who have accredited training and qualifications.

Anna Cole Asher, M.D.
Dr. Anna Cole Asher is a board-certified dermatologist and graduate of Yale University who attended medical school at the University of Mississippi in Jackson, MS. A native Mississippian, Dr. Asher completed 3 years of dermatology residency training at Tulane University, where she served as the Chief Resident in Dermatology. Dr. Asher has broad experience in adult and pediatric dermatology problems and provides thorough and detailed care in a straightforward and professional manner. Dr. Asher has extensive experience in a wide variety of cosmetic medical procedures.
